3 Best All Inclusive Resorts in Mexico: a Review
All inclusive packages are available as an option for most of the resorts in Mexico. What you get for that package may simply be a few meals and a kayak or it may include literally everything you could possibly dream of and more. Here is a glimpse of three vastly different properties just to get your dream vacation imagination kick started. All are highly toughted in their class.
MAHAKUA-HACIENDA de SAN ANTONIO Central Pacific, Mexico
Step back in time to the days of vast acreages ruled by the Dons. This nineteenth century Hacienda has been completely refurbished with period dcor worthy of a king. It rests in the secluded shadow of an active volcano on 450 acres in the middle of a 5000 acre organic farm and coffee plantation. Palatial gardens serve to enhance the beauty of this casa grande.
Enjoy the very best in fresh organic international cuisine served up on secluded tables nestled into nooks throughout the ground floor. Horseback rides and afternoon gourmet picnics or a hike to the volcano are a few of the laidback activities. Spend evenings by the fire on the roof top patio with stars just out of your reach.
Each room is graced with spectacular views. The personalized service is designed for royalty. Everything is included in the price. Private chauffeurs, personal maid or butler and excellent multilingual guides attend to your every whim.
Private charters from Guadalajara will drop you at the doorstep. All inclusive packages for this secluded hideout are regally reasonable.
LAS VENTARASAL PARAIASO Cabo San Lucas, Mexico
Here within the grasp of the many lies an exclusive golf and spa resort on the Sea of Cortez. Packages can be for the room only or they can include a Porsche convertible for flying down the coast. When booking you can choose from predesigned packages or design your own.
Sail the Sea of Cortez in the luxury Yacht or take cooking lessons. Spend the day careening through the desert in your casita’s own Hummer. Go for eighteen holes or chase the elusive Marlin. Spend a few hours each day rejuvenating your body and soul in the holistic spa. There is something for nearly every taste and pocket book.
The flexibility of this resort seems to be its power edge over others. To enjoy the gracious service can be as low as $750 per person for a week or run as much as 40,000.
EL DORADO AND HOTEL AZUL by KARISMA Cancun/Playa Del Carmen
Though not the cheapest and far from the most expensive these sister resorts by Karisma consistently rate tops in the blogs for I got my money’s worth. The El Dorado is for adults only and the Azul is a boutique family resort. The basic amenities are pretty similar.
Free drinks and food all day and night with a general sense of satisfaction for most is what make these resorts winners. Beaches in Cancun are not all the same and though neither of these beaches is large they are both swim friendly. The regular non-motor sports equipment is readily available along with plenty of off sight excursions.
Both of these resorts are a ways from town but offer nightly transportation for shopping and club hopping. El Dorado gets my kudos for incredible massage. Azul gets extra points for a staff that is so focused on the kids.
The rooms are clean and the service is friendly but not extravagant. I thought the ready supply of Jasmine scented towels at the beach was right up town.
Hey plenty of deals including airfare for less than a $100 a day with friendly service, adequate food, plenty of drinks and a beach.
